Claire Crawford, Finance Manager at NSI Projects recently completed the St Catherine’s Hospice (Preston) charity walk across Morecambe Bay.
The walk offers participants the chance to cross one of the most beautiful tidal bays in the UK, guided by the King’s Official Guide to the Sands. The route, which stretches approximately 8 miles, takes walkers across the sands and tidal channels of the bay, providing breathtaking views and an unforgettable experience. The walk takes about three to four hours to complete, and the final route is set on the day due to the shifting sands.
St. Catherine’s Hospice, which has been providing compassionate care to those with life-limiting illnesses in the Lancashire and South Cumbria areas, will benefit directly from the funds raised by everyone on the event. Every pound raised helps the hospice continue its vital services, including palliative care, support for families, and community outreach programs.
