Health and Safety
At all time Health and Safety considerations have to be at the forefront of our activities. Our aim is to deliver your project on budget, on time, but of absolutely equal importance, with no lost time injuries or health and safety incidents.
That's why you can expect:
- Risk assessments and method statements from us before the project begins
- Installation only using bona fide, fully insured, trained and experienced teams, with the appropriate number of men on site at any one time to ensure a safe method of build
- Installations fully complying with SEMA standards
- Where appropriate, pre contractual health and safety meetings with our Project Manager
- Us to allow for all the correct access equipment and fall from height protection required for the job. For example, when building pallet racking we insist on access from scissor lifts in every project where this is practicable.
CDM
NSI Projects are well experienced in working within the regime of CDM site conditions. We have often been complimented for our H&S housekeeping when under this more exacting performance spotlight.

Building Control
Building Control regulations as they apply to the installation of mezzanine floors and interiors have at their core the safe evacuation of staff and customers in the event of fire or other emergency. That's why NSI's experience in Building Control compliant design is often invaluable to our customers.
Pallet Racking Safety Surveys
Under The Health & Safety At Work Act 1974 it is the legal obligation of companies utilising pallet racking in their operation to have the installation checked for damage on a regular basis.
Our trained staff can undertake Rack Safety Surveys for you, all to SEMA standards. We'll fully document the survey for your records, immediately inform you of any safety critical damage we've noted, and make a recommendation of how you might best effect the repair at minimal disruption to your operation.
