On large multi-million turnover fit out projects, NSI offer a procurement service rather than a supply service to their customer base. We have a hightly successful record. By acting on behalf of your business, we can save you significant time, stress and cost in the process of planning and implementing large fit-out projects.
This service is lead personally by our Managing Director Simon King. He has over 15 years experience working in Blue Chip Corporate organisations, leading them through significant process change. It is this "foot in both camps" experience that ensures corporate sensitivities, protocols and standards are successfully matched with the technical and detail driven requirements of this industry to deliver a successful fit-out procurement and implementation programme.
Working in partnership with you, heading or working alongside your purchasing team, we can provide the industry inside knowledge to procure all the needs of a complex fit-out. Critically we know the very best suppliers, those that are capable of integrating with other trades, and the quality and safety reputations of the companies we may approach on your behalf.
We will take the time and pay close attention to detail to understand your business and the precise project objectives and requirements. From the specification drawn up as part of the solution design (see our project management section), we will recommend accordingly. We will handle the liaison with all the relevant parties on your behalf, including insurance companies, landlords, Building Control and the Health & Safety Executive. We prepare, evaluate and award tenders when applicable.
To avoid conflicts of interest NSI undertake this type of service for a consultancy fee only and do not seek to supply or install any of the specification agreed as part of the tendering process. This is particularly cost-effective for the client at project values in excess of £1m where NSI's fees would be considerably less than the savings a client can make over handing the whole project to a consolidator.
