Industrial Steel Partitioning | Steel Partitions
Industrial Steel Partitioning and steel partitions are easily overlooked as a solution to your office needs. They provide a tough, no nonsense, and flexible way of dividing your workplace, as an alternative to more traditional stud and board or block-built partitioning systems.
Just as modern building techniques trend towards prefabricated buildings, industrial partitioning and steel partitions sections are created (and painted to the colour of your choice) in a factory. They arrive ready-made and are simply bolted to brother and sister panels on site, in situ. No wet trades, no plasterboard dust and no decorators - it’s simple, quick and easy! You’ll hardly know we’ve been (well, other than the fact that you have a nice new shiny office)!
Our Industrial steel partitioning systems can be wiped down, are dust free and can form the basis of cleanroom environments. Double and single skinned variants are available.
Steel partitions are flexible and offer the following benefits:
o Fire rated to one hour and beyond
o Can be used to divide tall buildings, in excess of 10m, with proven balustrade loadings on the edge of mezzanine floors
o Half glazed, fully glazed, double glazed, wire glass, toughened glass and pyroc glass options are available
o Painted to match your corporate colours
o Creates dust-free, easy wipe down Cleanroom environments
o Spans from roof sections in excess of 7 metres
Just like other building works within your premises, you may need Building Control approval for these types of structures. Fear not, we have 30 years experience in dealing with the initially daunting world of Building Control Regulations. Please see our Projects Section for further details.
A comprehensive range of accessories to complement industrial partitioning- steel partitions are available to order, including drop-down and sliding hatches, louvres, vents and locking systems.

Cleanroom Systems
Cleanrooms consist of many parts including the partitioning, air handling system, furniture, flooring etc. The level to which staff clean down before entering, their overalls and the number of air changes per hour also affect the environment. For a cleanroom to be certified to a specified standard all components must lend themselves to that level of cleanliness.
Together with the cleanliness of staff and their overalls air handling is one of the most important element within a cleanroom. There are two main categories of airflow - laminar and non-laminar. Non-laminar systems are cost effective and typically used for classes 100,000 to class 1000. Laminar systems give better performance by pushing particles through a perforated raised floor and hence can be used for classes 100 to 1 of cleanrooms.
