Cantilever Racking
Cantilever Racking is generally designed to maximise storage capacity, accessibility and presentation of long or irregular items such as:
- Timber,
- Steel
- Aluminium
- Plastics
- Cars
- Boats
The cantliever racks are designed to specifically match the customer’s application, taking into account the product stored, the space available, handing facilities, resources and the long-term potential which, with a product life of over twenty years, can be incorporated into a business’ long-term expansion plans. All sizes and loadings are available:
- Heights to ten metres
- Rack lengths are infinite
- Arm lengths 0.5 metres to 2.5 metres
- Carrying capacity to customer’s requirements
Cantilever racking can also be used outside with galvanised racks. To help stop rain and snow settling on your stock we can put canopies on the rack tops.
Cantilever racking provides a very flexible storage system and can achieve high returns on investment with continuous savings and productivity gains, for example as follows:
Space:
It increases capacity by using heights up to ten metres, number of arms to meet customer’s requirements for optimum space utilisation.
Stock:
Immediate accessibility – reduced handling, quicker turnaround, easier stock rotation, easy working for staff.
Control:
Presentation – all stock on view, simplified stock control.
Care:
Reduced wastage – product stored correctly, minimising any damage with reduced handling.
Efficiency:
Increased efficiency – reduces cost, raises productivity.
Versatility :
Our cantilever rack fame uprights have a dual function, single sided or double sided. All columns are punched to both sides for base and arm connections, allowing conversion from a single to double-sided rack or vice versa at any point in the future. Replacement of any damaged components in later years is quick and economical.
