New rest area for Hawarden Airport

This was the problem faced by Hawarden Airport.
Any pilots that were on standby and operational duties had no other base other than a Portacabin, and not forgetting there was no lounge area for incoming flight passengers.
NSI Projects were approached by consultant John Melwin, to design and quote the construction of a fire rated partitioning system to give the airport an operations room and rest area for pilots and passengers.
By the introduction of the office and rest areas NSI have transformed the day-to-day comfort zone and moral of staff and also increased a professional appearance to incoming passengers.
John Melvin commented, “All parties are very impressed with the finish and timing it took to build the areas.”
